Job summary

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill is seeking friendly, upbeat team members to join our fast-paced hospitality environment and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will greet guests, manage seating software, coordinate with front-of-house staff, estimate wait times, and assist with seating, service, and table cleanliness while maintaining a welcoming dining room and rapport with customers both new and returning.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills and clarity.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Must be 16 years of age or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a welcoming and positive attitude.
• Manage seating software and update table status.
• Communicate effectively with front of house team and managers.
• Estimate wait times based on current conditions.
• Make appropriate accommodations based on guest needs.
• Bus, clean, and sanitize tables and seating areas.
• Handle reservation inquiries and carryout pickup as needed.
• Assist serving staff with pre-bussing and delivering food/drinks.
• Build relationships with new and returning customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and restrooms.
• Execute daily cleaning tasks as directed.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests as they Arrive with a Welcoming and Positive Attitude
• Manage Seating Software by Entering Accurate Guest Information and Updating Table Status
• Communicate Effectively with Front of House Team Members and Managers
• Estimate Accurate Wait Times for Guests based on Current Table Times, Party Size, Wait List, and other Factors
• Use Good Judgment to make Appropriate Accommodations for Guests based on Need
• Bus, Clean, and Sanitize Tables/Chairs/Seats Quickly to Ensure Efficient Seating
• Handle Phone Calls and any Inquiries on Reservations, as Needed
• Direct and Facilitate Carryout Pickup for Guests, as Needed
• Assist Serving Staff when Necessary, with Pre-Bussing Tables and Delivering Food and Beverages to Guests
• Work to Build Relationships with New and Regular Customers
• Maintain Cleanliness and Presentation of the Dining Room, Restrooms, and other Public Areas
• Execute Daily Cleaning Details, as Outlined by the Management Team

Required qualifications
