Job summary

Manhattan Beach Post is looking for an experienced Hostess/Maitre'D to join our team in Hermosa Beach. A qualified candidate will have at least 1 year of hosting in an upscale, casual setting and thrive on delivering warm, guest-focused service.

The ideal candidate will handle seating arrangements with grace under pressure, multitask efficiently during peak hours, and contribute to a welcoming dining atmosphere. A flexible schedule including Sundays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year hosting in an upscale, casual atmosphere.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills, working well under pressure and an ability to smile amidst the hustle & bustle of a busy restaurant.
• Being Guest First, quick-thinking and have grace under pressure are qualities we hold in very high regard.
• Flexible schedule – dinner hours during the week and brunch/dinner hours on the weekends. Sundays are a must.
• Passion for hospitality and relationship building.
