Job summary

Cheddar's in Garland, TX is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, seat them promptly, and support servers and managers to maintain a smooth dining flow.

You will help keep the host area clean, communicate wait times, and contribute to a positive guest experience. Enjoy weekly pay, flexible schedules, dining discounts, and opportunities for growth within Cheddar's.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and seat them promptly.
• Coordinate with servers and managers to manage party sizes and seating flow.
• Maintain clean, sanitized host area and dining entrance.
• Communicate guest needs and wait times to the team to ensure smooth service.
• Help guests with questions about the menu and dining experience.

First impressions count! You are the first person guests see when they walk in the door; it's your job to make them feel welcome, glad they came and to seat them quickly. Hosts also ensure Guest touch points are clean and sanitized; when the guest is done with their meal, to give them a genuine thank you as they walk out the door. On top of seating Guests, you assist Servers and Managers by communicating with them in terms of party counts and seating so that everything runs smoothly. Hosts can make Guest experiences great - and being a Host can be a lot of fun!
