Bardenay Inc. is seeking team members for Expo, Runner, and Host roles in Eagle, Idaho. The position emphasizes fast, accurate order flow between kitchen and bar, guest seating, and timely service in a team-driven, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous expediting experience preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills are required.
• Positive interpersonal skills are required.
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
• ServSafe food handler certification (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate orders between the front and back of the house.
• Deliver and expedite orders; greet customers at the door and assign guests to tables as needed.
• Seat guests, communicate their server, and provide menus; assist with closing procedures.

As the Expo/Runner/Host, the purpose is to help expedite and deliver orders from the kitchen and the bar. You may sometimes be asked to greet customers at the door and assign guests to tables.

General Responsibilities - Expo

• Communicate orders and information between the front and back of the house
• Make sure the food is cooked in the right order and quickly
• Ensure the food is presented to the customer as beautifully as possible

General Responsibilities – Runner

• Deliver food and drinks to customers in a timely manner
• Check orders for accuracy
• Take additional orders when required
• Helps expedite orders

General Responsibilities – Host

• Greet customers at the door
• Seat guests and communicate who their server will be
• Provide menus to guests and clean them afterward
• Acknowledge guests upon their exit

Requirements

Job Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
