Job summary

The Knox Hotel Employer LLC on Knox Street in Dallas, part of Auberge Collection, seeks a polished Host to uphold a welcoming atmosphere and guide guests from arrival to departure. You will manage guest flow, assist with reservations, and greet guests with warmth and attentiveness.

Exemplary service, teamwork, and knowledge of hotel services and local attractions are essential. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; OpenTable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a professional and engaging demeanor upon arrival
• Provide courteous service while managing guest check-ins, waitlists, and seating
• Escort guests to tables and ensure a smooth and welcoming transition into service
• Answer phones, manage reservations, and maintain accurate records in reservation systems
• Take in-room dining orders when applicable and ensure proper communication with the team
• Coordinate with restaurant and/or pool staff to optimize seating and guest flow
• Assist in preparing station charts, assigning sections, and supporting table setup organization
• Maintain accurate wait times and communicate updates clearly to guests
• Monitor and update guest profiles, including VIP arrivals and special requests
• Ensure menus and wine lists are clean, updated, and well-stocked at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the host stand and surrounding areas
• Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and local attractions to assist guest inquiries

Job Description

The Host upholds the welcoming atmosphere that defines our hospitality. As a key member of the Auberge team, this role is responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive guest experience from arrival to departure. • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities


• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays


• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or related field preferred


• Knowledge of luxury service standards and etiquette is a plus


• Able to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
