Job summary

KPOT Colorado Springs is seeking an energetic Host to greet guests, manage wait times, and seat guests at our Korean BBQ & Hot Pot restaurant. You will assist servers with initial drink orders, answer questions about the menu and promotions, and help keep the front-of-house organized and inviting.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a dynamic, high-energy environment with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours).
• Lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
• Work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Provide guests with accurate wait times and manage waitlists.
• Seat guests, provide menus and assist servers with initial drink orders.
• Answer guest questions regarding the menu and KPOT brand.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Observe and monitor table turnover and cleanliness of front-of-house.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, hospitality-focused attitude.
• Inform management of large parties, special requests, or guest concerns.
• Answer phones professionally and courteously.
• Handle to-go inquiries or direct to appropriate team member.
• Ensure business cards, beverage menus, and other paper goods are stocked.
• Monitor restrooms and notify management of issues.

• Handle to-go inquiries or direct them to the appropriate team member.
• Ensure business cards, beverage menus, and other paper goods are clean and stocked.
• Monitor restrooms periodically and notify management of any issues.
