Job summary

Suntex Marinas is seeking a Host for the Dining Room to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and seat guests efficiently. You will handle greeting, seating assignments, and assist other staff during busy periods.

The role requires a friendly, service-oriented attitude, the ability to manage waiting lists, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Training on food safety and customer service will be provided.

They may also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu and assist various restaurant staff when necessary.

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting guests as the enter, and putting them on a waiting list if necessary


• Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that serves receive the right number of customers


• Helping with other positions in the restaurant as needed

EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE

• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler license


• Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions


• Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season
