The Host position involves:

• Ensuring the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant.
• Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and thanking guests as they depart.
• Assigning tables pre-shift and providing servers with appropriate chits.
• Answering phones throughout the shift and directing calls as needed.
• Pulling out chairs, seating guests, and providing menus.
• Additional opening and closing duties: cleaning, stocking, and setting up the host stand for the next shift.
