Job summary

Guesthouse Hospitality Company seeks a part-time House Assistant for our Truckee, California property. You will work hourly, supporting meal service, housekeeping, errands, and day-to-day operations to create a seamless guest experience.

The ideal candidate takes pride in the details, can work independently or with a small team, and is comfortable in a hospitality setting where no two days are alike. Compensation includes $20–$24 per hour and equity options, with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support meal service by managing kitchen clean-up, dishwashing, and post-meal reset of dining and service areas.
• Provide turn-down service and refresh towels, linens, and bed arrangements.
• Perform general household upkeep, including vacuuming, sweeping, and maintaining cleanliness and comfort of the property.
• Manage laundry for kitchen linens and ensure clean stock is available and organized.
• Care for indoor plants and outdoor spaces, including snow removal as needed.
• Assist with light errands such as picking up locally placed chef orders and supplies.
• Maintain fireplace and firewood storage, keeping them clean and ready.
• Communicate supply needs and guest observations to the Operations Manager.
• Lend a hand to ensure guests’ stay runs seamlessly from start to finish.
