The Staff Accountant at FAENA is responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and daily postings, with emphasis on room revenues, F&B audits, and month-end close processes. You will assist the Director of Finance and support special projects while maintaining professionalism and guest service orientation.

This role requires 2–4 years in hospitality accounting, a finance or accounting degree, strong Excel skills, and integrity.

Formación

• 2 to 4 years related experience in accounting with emphasis on hospitality industry.
• Preferable Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Intermediate to Strong level of proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with SUN Financial System preferable.
• Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Must have a high degree of professional integrity and confidentiality, and work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
• Strong team player, enthusiastic to learn and accomplish the Finance Department & Faena District overall goals.

Responsabilidades

• Balance Sheet reconciliations and daily financial postings into the accounting system with emphasis on room revenues and market segments.
• Audit each business date routing packets; F&B audits – Outlets’ complimentary checks, POS to PMS systems balance.
• Month-end closing processes including monthly journal entries, sales tax reconciliations and beverage inventory audits.
• Assist Director of Finance and ADOF on special projects as needed.
• Support the day-to-day operation and supervise respective staff; adhere to SOX guidelines.
