Job summary

Collin College is seeking faculty to prepare and deliver coursework in an engaging manner consistent with the college's Core Values and professional standards. The position emphasizes culturally responsive teaching, ongoing curricular review, and active participation in student success initiatives.

Faculty will support curriculum development, participate in campus committees, and contribute to program improvement while meeting the requirements of an in-person, on-site role across campus

Qualifications

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with the course syllabus and college policy.
• Update and revise course content and teaching methodology to stay current.
• Maintain familiarity with current texts, materials, and techniques relevant to courses.
• Actively seek ways to improve instruction.
• Collaborate with staff to advise and assist students during registration and success initiatives.
• Demonstrate commitment to institutional accreditation and program improvement.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses per syllabus and college policy.
• Update and revise course content to keep it current.
• Advise and assist students during registration and completion.
• Participate in discipline, division, and district activities.
• Maintain office hours as required; engage with students outside class.
• Assist in curriculum and program development and assessment.
• Support library and material selection for courses.
• Participate in college-wide events and graduations as needed.
