Job summary

Uncle Julio's in Gaithersburg, Maryland, is looking for passionate Shift Leaders to join our upscale casual dining team. In this role, you will lead by example, fostering a positive environment while delivering exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of leadership experience in the Fast-Casual Restaurant industry and a High School Diploma or GED. Opportunities for advancement are available as Uncle Julio's continues to grow by opening new restaurants annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience with leadership in a Fast-Casual Restaurant.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience with leadership in the Fast‑Casual Restaurant industry, required.
• High School Diploma or GED, required. Associate’s or a bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are required.
• Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
