Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support guest services and the housekeeping team by keeping linens clean and ready for use. You will wash, dry, iron and fold linens and other items in a safe and efficient manner, following property standards and safety procedures.

Be prepared to work weekends and holidays. Basic knowledge of computer systems is helpful, but no prior experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills helpful but not required.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort soiled linen.
• Load and unload commercial washer and dryer machines.
• Follow proper procedures regarding decontamination and quality standards.
• Ensure the cleanliness of linens, towels and work area.
• Operate commercial washer with approved detergents, required temperature and proper weight.
• Maintain washer and dryer units to ensure property specific standards and safety protocols are met, cleaning lint trays twice during each shift.
• Inspect and fold laundry.
• Ensure finished product is inspected and meets quality standards.
• Remove and log all stained or torn linen.
• Report all emergencies, injuries, missing articles, damage and mechanical problems immediately.
• Follow all safety procedures while working, proper use of PPE, proper lifting bending and chemical handing.
