Job summary

RMS Companies is seeking a housekeeping laundry attendant to wash, dry and fold hotel linen, and deliver it to housekeeping closets. You may assist in other departments as needed while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor and strong guest service.

Responsibilities include operating laundry equipment, keeping machines clean, and assisting with deep cleaning and employee areas. Availability for AM/PM shifts and physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Availability to work AM/PM shifts.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, fold and deliver linen to housekeeping closets.
• Fold linen to hotel standard with minimal wrinkles.
• Operate hotel rotary iron for linen with safety precautions.
• Maintain cleanliness of washing machines and dryers; clean lint traps and drains.
• Monitor linen for stains and wear; reclaim as needed.
• Report any malfunction of washers/dryers to Housekeeping Management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry room and storage area.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and employee areas.
