American Society of Interior Designers is seeking a Hospitality Interior Designer for our Frederick, MD studio. The role targets professionals with 2–5 years of interior design experience in hospitality or related commercial work, ready to grow in a fast-paced, project-driven team.

The candidate will assist senior designers, develop FF&E specs, and contribute to space planning and documentation across hotel and hospitality projects. Strong CAD/Revit skills and vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in hospitality or commercial interiors.
• Hospitality experience preferred; strong interest in hotel, resort, and lifestyle design.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the senior designer with hospitality interior design projects.
• Prepare and write FF&E specifications.
• Assist with CAD, Revit, and general drawing production.
• Support space planning for hotel guestrooms, public spaces, and amenity areas.
• Contribute conceptual design ideas for hotel/hospitality projects and interpret brand standards for conversions and refreshes.
• Verify information in specifications (quantities, dimensions, finishes, product details).
• Source products based on direction from the senior designer.
• Contact vendors for product information, pricing, lead times, and follow-ups.
• Review drawings and ensure clear information exchange with production team.
• Prepare finish, material, and presentation samples; assemble finish index books.
• Assist with design library organization and general studio support.
