Job summary

The LINE is seeking a dynamic House Person to join our Austin team. You will help maintain spotless guest areas, assist Room Attendants, and support a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3 years in hospitality, and strong attention to detail. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and a proactive approach to daily hotel operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency with hotel software and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Notify immediate supervisor about any hotel rooms that need to be placed out of order for maintenance concerns.
• Strip hotel rooms, remove trash, and assist Room Attendants as needed.
• Ensure all bedding, including duvet covers, are changed between guests.
• Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
• Keep storage rooms stocked with required par levels.
• Report and correct deficiencies in rooms or public areas.
• Vacuum carpets, clean hallways, stairs, dust areas and linen closets.
• Maintain visibility with supervisor and location within hotel.
• Assist with mattress rotation, window washing, and deep cleaning tasks.
• Maintain communication between departments to ensure smooth operation.
• Notify supervisor of stock shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Know all hotel services and amenities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Attend relevant meetings.
