Brookdale is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate in a Brookdale community in Colorado to maintain clean and welcoming spaces for residents and guests. The role includes cleaning lobbies, hallways, and apartments, with weekend or evening shifts possible to ensure shift coverage.

The position emphasizes courteous resident interactions, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in cleaning of housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, polishes, and sanitizes gathering and public spaces including lobbies, halls, stairwells, activities rooms, dining rooms, elevators.
• Cleans residents’ apartments on a weekly basis or as needed.
• Interacts with residents and guests in a friendly and courteous manner, providing assistance and directions as requested.
• Cleans floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting.
• Cleans carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, film from surfaces using cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Cleans public restrooms including washing, sanitizing, and polishing bathroom fixtures.
• Conducts deep cleaning of apartments, furniture, and window treatments per assignment.
• Wipes surfaces in kitchen and ensures appliances are clean.
• Logs cleaning activities as required by procedures.
