Andaz San Diego seeks a Director of Finance to lead all financial management, strategic planning, and internal controls across the hotel. You will partner with the General Manager to drive profitability, ensure fiscal integrity, and align with corporate objectives while preserving the guest experience.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audits, while developing a high-performing finance team within a globally recognized brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar professional designation preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• 3+ years in a senior financial leadership role within hospitality.
• Experience with a global hotel management company is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual operating budgets and long-range forecasts.
• Monitor labor productivity, profitability, cost controls, and flow-through.
• Improve hotel KPIs such as GOP, EBITDA, labor cost, and profitability.
• Direct all accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and month-end close.
• Ensure timely financial statements, owner reports, and compliance with US GAAP and policies.
• Lead audits and manage cash flow and liquidity.
• Foster leadership and cross-functional partnerships within the hotel.
