Job summary

Azul Hospitality Group is hiring dishwashers to support our kitchen team for a busy hotel operation in Phoenix. You will clean and sanitize china, glassware, and utensils, operate the dishwashing machine, and keep all areas tidy to support food safety standards.

We seek reliable individuals with basic math, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training and supportive team culture are provided in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Self-driven and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of table and bar service.

Responsibilities

• Clean, transport and store all pots and pans, silverware, glassware and china used in the food and beverage operations in a clean and orderly manner.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machine and maintain a hygienic working environment.
• Ensure sufficient items are available to open shifts and manage dirty dishes.
• Ensure spills and hazards are addressed promptly and safety procedures followed.
• Sanitize all kitchens and food prep areas; assist service team to meet guest expectations.
• Report maintenance and safety hazards to supervisors; perform other duties as needed.
