Job summary

El Fenix Mexican Restaurant is seeking a Front of House team member to keep the dining area clean and safe while assisting with guest service. You will bus and reset tables, restock dining room supplies, and help with running food during shifts.

Ideal candidates are at least 17 years old, able to lift up to 40 pounds, and hold a state-approved Food Handler certification. This on-site role requires stamina for loud, fast-paced environments and a friendly, guest-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Certified Food Handler in respective state
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and work in hot, wet, loud environments
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds multiple times per shift
• Reliable transportation and minimum age 17+

Responsibilities

• Bus, clean, sanitize, and set tables to seat Guests promptly.
• Restock utensils, napkins, and assist dining room needs.
• Maintain FOH floors and cleanliness to prevent safety issues.
• Perform opening/closing duties including sweeping, restroom cleaning, and trash.
• Provide genuine hospitality with a smile.
• Maintain positive attitude focused on Guest satisfaction.
• Assist in refilling drinks, chips, salsa, and running food as needed.
• Restock glassware, plateware, ice, and service items.
• Deliver a memorable Guest experience with attentive service.
