Job summary

Bupa UK is hiring a Hospitality Assistant for Broomcroft House Care Home in Sheffield. You will provide excellent resident service, serve meals, maintain dining area cleanliness and support colleagues across shifts.

Role is permanent, full-time with alternate weekends. Salary ranges from £12.75 to £13.75 per hour, depending on experience, and comes with Bupa benefits and development opportunities.

• Experience in a customer facing environment with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to deliver high-quality food presentation and dining service.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service to all our residents

• Serving meals and drinks to residents in the dining areas and to their rooms
• Cleaning of the dining area ensuring it’s tidy and presentable

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role

Experience in a customer facing environment with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, you want to deliver an excellent service to make our residents feel at home. You’ll understand the importance of maintaining high standards in and around the home, ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience. Comfortable communicating with others - nothing is too much trouble, you’re always happy to help the wider team, cherishing the little moments with our residents.
