Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Hospitality Aide HCC to support residents in a skilled nursing center. The role focuses on concierge-style assistance, room upkeep, and non-clinical support to the care team.

You will help CNAs by passing ice and meal trays, assist with call lights, and help move residents to activities. An important requirement is enrollment in a CNA training class within 90 days and eventual state CNA certification.

Qualifications

Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Support role to provide concierge services to residents in skilled nursing facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make beds and provide supplemental support to housekeeping by keeping resident rooms neat and orderly.
• Assist CNAs by passing ice, passing out meal trays and by answering call lights. The Hospitality Aide is not clinical and cannot feed a resident or provide any hands‑on care.
• Assist Activities Department by pushing residents in wheelchairs to Activities within the healthcare center.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Must be enrolled in a CNA training class within 90 days of hire.
• Must be state certified as a CNA within 6 months of hire or employment will be terminated.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or GED

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)

Must be willing and qualified to complete a state required Certified Nursing Assistant training class and pass certification exam.
