Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Hospitality Aide to provide hospitality services to community residents who do not require direct patient care. The role supports dining services, bedside assistance, and orientation for new residents in a care facility.

The position requires ability to lift and assist with residents and items, maintain room cleanliness, and adhere to safety and infection control standards. A compassionate demeanor and team collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Strip bed linen and remake bed as directed.
• Report observations and information regarding residents to supervisor.
• Record observations, such as nourishment intake at meal times, as directed.
• Help orient new residents to facility.
• Straighten rooms and label personal toiletries as needed.
• Clean equipment (bedpans, wheelchairs, IV poles) as directed.
• Monitor compliance to safety, infection control, and resident rights.
