Job summary

Spaulding Hospital Cambridge, a Mass General Brigham hospital, seeks hospitalists to join our inpatient team with a predictable Monday–Friday daytime schedule and dedicated nocturnist coverage.

This opportunity supports medically complex patients and emphasizes continuity of care, with strong interdisciplinary collaboration across the Mass General Brigham network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.
• Inpatient/hospitalist experience preferred.
• Comfort caring for medically complex and post-acute patients.
• Strong communication and team-based care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily medical management for approximately 10–14 patients.
• Complete admissions, H&Ps, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in complex discharge planning.
• Respond to rapid responses and medical codes during assigned shifts.
• Ventilator/tracheostomy responsibilities coordinated with Pulmonology and hospitalists.
