Job summary

Aligned Providers Wyoming seeks an experienced Hospitalist Practice Administrator to oversee daily administrative processes and support APW’s hospitalist providers. You will liaise between APW and site Medical Staff Offices and assist the Medical Director as a key member of the leadership team.

The role reports to the Practice Administrator Manager, is on-site in Cheyenne, and offers a $55,000 annual salary with eligible medical coverage and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of healthcare administration experience.
• Experience with EMR and credentialing/enrollment processes.
• Strong leadership with executive-level collaboration and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities including scheduling and shift coverage.
• Provide support to Regional Scheduling Coordinator and site Medical Directors.
• Ensure policy adherence across sites and liaise with third-party vendors.
• Coordinate daily leadership schedules, attend meetings, and record minutes.
• Monthly data extraction and collaboration on quality initiatives and metrics.
• Manage provider orientation and work with MSOs on orientation and travel arrangements.
• Support recruitment processes and provide data for evaluations.
• Foster effective relationships with site leadership to meet department goals.
• Perform chart reviews to ensure H&P, signatures and completeness; coordinate billing.
• Communicate essential information to providers and HR; route inquiries appropriately.
