Job summary

HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, FL is seeking PRN hospitalists to join our internal medicine practice. The role includes ICU management and coverage with a team of 2 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers. Shifts are seven consecutive days (7a-7p) once per month.

The ideal candidate is ABIM/AOBIM certified with ICU procedures experience; ABFM certified physicians with extensive hospital medicine exposure may also be considered. Competitive scheduling available.

Qualifications

• Must be ABIM/AOBIM certified with procedure competencies (central lines, intubations, etc.)
• May consider ABFM certified with extensive hospital medicine experience and procedure competencies (central lines, intubations, etc.)
• Management of ICU patients
• Must be able to work one week per month (seven consecutive shifts, 7a-7p)

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient internal medicine coverage as a hospitalist.
• Manage ICU patients and coordinate with the hospitalist team.
• Collaborate with 2 physicians and 4 APPs to support the service.
• Open ICU and participate in shared night call to back up the night APP.
