Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Nocturnist Hospitalist to provide locum tenens coverage in Michigan. The position requires night-shift duties from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rounding and inpatient management of patients on Cerner EMR.

Board certification, Michigan license, BLS, ACLS, and DEA are required. The assignment includes managed travel and housing support through AMN's locum tenens team.

Qualifications

• Experience with inpatient internal medicine and nocturnist coverage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rounding for inpatient population.
• Intermittent staffing of patients and occasional code coverage.

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Night 12 Pay Rate: $179.45 - $194.25

This facility is seeking a Nocturnist Hospitalist for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 7p-7a 12 hour days every 4 weeks and then every other week starting December 2026.
• Total census per provider per shift: 16 inpatient
• Procedures required: Internal Medicine and Adult inpatient
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
• Support: Responsible for rounding and intermittent staffing of patients with occasional code coverage
• Certifications and license required: Board Certification, Michigan license required, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Drug Enforcement Administration
