Job summary

Ochsner Health in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi is seeking a Physician to join Ochsner Hancock in a day shift role. BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians are welcomed to apply.

You will manage an average census of 15 patients including admissions, perform ICU rounding in an Open ICU, and use EPIC with remote access. Collaborative care is supported by dedicated RN and Social Work coordinators. Ochsner offers generous compensation and benefits, with opportunities for leadership development and teaching

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine required or eligible.
• Strong clinical skills with focus on inpatient medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage an average census of 15 patients including admissions.
• Perform ICU rounding in Open ICU settings.
• Utilize EPIC EMR with remote access for patient care.
• Collaborate with RN and Social Work coordinators for patient care.

• Average census of 15 patients including admissions.

• No procedures required but you do have to do ICU rounding (Open ICU)

• E-ICU intensivist support with open ICUs at the community hospitals

• EPIC medical record system with remote access capabilities
