Job summary

Sound Physicians invites you to join Texoma Medical Center as a Nocturnist Physician Assistant. Live in Frisco or McKinney and work 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on a 5-on, 5-off rotation, with a comfortable drive from Denison and North Dallas suburbs.

You’ll deliver overnight cross‑coverage for hospitalized patients, collaborate with two in-house nocturnist physicians, and enjoy a market‑leading salary with a sign‑on bonus in a supportive hospitalist team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible physician assistants (PA-C).
• Active license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
• A minimum of one year of hospital medicine experience as a physician assistant is required.
• Candidates should be comfortable managing overnight cross-coverage in a collaborative, physician-supported environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Primarily provide overnight cross-coverage for hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate closely with two in-house nocturnist physicians.
• Perform admissions as needed during higher-volume shifts.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative hospital medicine environment.

We are hiring for a nocturnist physician assistant position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and can deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration

• Join our close-knit team of 28 physicians at Texoma Medical Center.
