Job summary

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• Active DEA license.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist coverage in a 24/7 model (7am–7pm, 7 days on/7 days off).
• Open ICU management and ability to run codes as needed.
• Average patient load of 14–17 per day per physician.
• Employed by NC Health; work onsite at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC.
