Job summary

SageWest Health Care in Wyoming is actively recruiting an experienced Hospitalist to join our open ICU group with strong support, a welcoming community, and flexible scheduling for work/life balance. Our Lander and Riverton facilities offer 133 beds and 24/7 hospitalist and emergency services.

Procedures include central lines, intubations, thoracostomy, arterial lines; flexible scheduling can be averaged over the year. Relocation, CME support, and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Internal Medicine is required.
• Ability to obtain WY medical license and DEA with prescriptive authority.
• Willing to reside in the communities to support scheduling flexibility.
• Chest tubes experience strongly preferred.
• At least one year of experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide open ICU hospitalist coverage with flexible scheduling.
• Perform procedures including central lines, intubations, thoracostomy and arterial lines.
• Shift patterns include 24-hour shifts, with annualized flexibility.

Combined, our Lander and Riverton facilities offer a total of 133 beds, providing comprehensive medical services to the communities for a population of over 40,000 in Fremont County, Wyoming, including 24/7 Hospitalist and emergency care, surgery, women s health, and advanced diagnostics, committed to quality, safety, and community wellness.

About The Position

• 10 shifts/month (24-hour shifts) - 10 site/14 unrestricted call
• Procedures include: central lines, intubations, thoras, paras, arterial lines; possible chest tubes
• Shift requirement can be averaged over the entire year to allow for flexibility
• Opportunity to pick up extra shifts at the same shift rate

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Internal Medicine
• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Must be willing and able to reside in the communities to allow for flexibility in scheduling
• Ability to manage chest tubes strongly preferred
• At least one year of experience highly desirable
