Job summary

Delphi Healthcare, an established rural hospitalist group, seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a Night Hospitalist role in rural New Mexico. The position offers flexible scheduling, with 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts and options such as 7 on/7 off, 10 on/10 off, or 14 on/14 off, plus W2 or 1099 options.

Compensation is approximately $175/hour, with a one-year contract and anticipated start date of October 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active medical license or ability to obtain.
• Strong inpatient medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide night hospitalist coverage in a rural NM hospital with 12-hour shifts.
• Manage a 12-bed inpatient unit with overnight telemedicine support.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and physicians to ensure patient care.
• Family Medicine physicians may manage pediatric and OB patients; telemedicine supports as needed.

Delphi Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a rural New Mexico hospital as a Night Hospitalist Physician.

This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking a low-volume nocturnist position with flexibility, autonomy, and strong overnight support.

Position Highlights

• Compensation: Approximately $175/hour
• Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Clinical Practice

• 12-bed inpatient unit
• Average of only 1 3 admissions per night
• Telemedicine physician support available overnight
• Family Medicine physicians may manage pediatric and OB patients
• Internal Medicine physicians welcome; pediatric telemedicine support available as needed
• No current ICU; plans underway to add a 3-bed open ICU
