Job summary

Sound Physicians is recruiting a Hospital Medicine physician to join Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan. The position features a 7-days-on, 7-days-off hospitalist rotation with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, focusing on complex inpatient care and strong team collaboration.

The team includes 16 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners, with dedicated support and a strong emphasis on patient-first care in a community setting. Visa support is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• New internal medicine graduates, internal medicine residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
• We proudly support both H1 and J1 Visa Candidates with in-house visa specialists and credentialing experts.

Responsibilities

• We welcome the challenge of complex cases. There is a closed ICU with intensivist coverage. Our team is not expected to do procedures.
• Residents run codes and rapids, and our team attends to our patients.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 16 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners with the support of a practice coordinator and clinical performance nurse at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital.
• We take pride in our relationship with the hospital and are involved in committees ranging from CHF to mortality.
• We meet monthly for team meetings and internal staff meetings. These are intended to update the team on hospital or group initiatives, discuss barriers, and highlight providers making a difference.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• New internal medicine graduates, internal medicine residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
• We proudly support both H1 and J1 Visa Candidates who can take advantage of Sound’s excellent in-house visa specialists and our licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are coveredby Sound.
