Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Physician in Florida for locum tenens coverage. Shifts include 7a–7p and 7p–7a with ASAP start and Day availability. Board Certified in Internal Medicine with an active Florida license and Florida DEA, plus BLS, are required.

EMR status is pending; credentialing and temp privileges may apply. Malpractice insurance is arranged by AMN, and travel, lodging, and transportation support are provided to accommodate assignments.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine with an active Florida medical license.
• Active Florida DEA license.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist coverage for 7a–7p and 7p–7a shifts.
• Perform standard hospitalist procedures as required.
• Work with EMR systems once available and participate in credentialing as needed.

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Pending
• Certifications and license required: Must be Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, must have active Florida License, must have active Florida Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Credentialing timeframe: (Temp privileges provided?)
