Job summary

National Wound Physician Group in Eau Claire, WI seeks a full-time Hospitalist Physician to provide bedside wound care in post-acute settings. This mobile role covers a 40–60 mile radius with no nights, no call, and no weekend duties.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 7am–4pm, treating 20–30 patients daily across 2–3 facilities, with real-time EMR documentation and paid training including a 6-month wound care fellowship; W2 employment with benefits.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute care facilities (SNFs and LTACHs).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• No nights, no call, no weekend duties.
• Mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating 20–30 patients daily.
• Real-time documentation at point of care using proprietary EMR.

Practice Overview

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full time role is 4 - 5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
