Job summary

Medrina is seeking a Hospitalist Physician in Birmingham, AL. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with both full-time and part-time opportunities in a private practice model.

You’ll provide hospitalist services in a skilled nursing facility setting, with flexible scheduling and tail malpractice coverage. Board Certified or Board Eligible, with US residency and current US work visa, are required.

Medrina offers competitive income with proven earnings of around $350K+.

Hospitalist Physician – Birmingham, AL

Medrina is a large, physician‑owned practice that has operated as a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add physicians to our Birmingham market.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients and on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks) and chemical hazards.
• Must wear required PPE per company/facility requirements.
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
