Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Advanced Physician Services PC is seeking a Physician Assistant for a strictly daytime, inpatient hospitalist role. You will work with an experienced team to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow up on diverse medical patients in an academic medical setting.

Ideal candidates include board-certified PAs with NY license and at least 2 years of hospitalist or academic medicine experience; new grads are considered.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Physician Assistant.
• New York State PA license (or able to obtain).
• Minimum 2 years hospitalist or academic medicine experience; new grads considered.
• BLS and ATLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and consultations as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.
• Work in a daytime inpatient hospitalist role alongside physicians and PAs.
• Manage diverse medical patients within an academic medical environment.
• Be an integral member of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
