Job summary

Sound Physicians in Plainview, TX is seeking a Hospital Medicine Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner to join our academic hospital team. You will provide nocturnal patient care, collaborate with a team of physicians, residents, and APPs, and contribute to a residency program at Covenant Medical Center of Plainview.

This role offers a rotating schedule, 7 days on and 7 days off, with nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, an annual salary of $155,000, comprehensive benefits, and in-house

Qualifications

• ACNP certification required.
• In-house licensing and credentialing support provided.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage 2–3 admissions per night.
• Handle 10–15 floor calls per shift.
• Provide nocturnist coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Collaborate with residents and EPIC EMR system.

We take pride in our well-established team at Covenant Medical Center of 2 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APP), with the support of a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.

Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.

This is an academic hospital, and we manage the internal medicine residency program.

Qualifications:

• ACNP certification.
• We provide in-house licensing, and credentialing support.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

7-days-on, 7-days-off rotating schedule.

As a Nocturnist, you will be working nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• 2-3 admissions on average per night.
• 10-15 average floor calls.
• Rapidly managed by residents.
• Our EMR is EPIC.
