Sound Physicians is seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (nocturnist) in Livingston, Texas, at CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial - Livingston.

This overnight role runs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 7 days on/7 days off, with admissions and cross-coverage duties performed alongside a small, established team. Board-certified/eligible acute care NP or PA is required, with prior hospitalist experience preferred and authorization to work in the United States.

We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration

• Our well-established team consists of 2 physicians and 2 APPs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible acute care nurse practitioners or physician assistants.
• Prior Hospitalist experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

• 7-days-on, 7-days-off.
• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM night shifts.
• Admissions and cross-coverage call.
