Intermountain Health in Utah Valley Hospital seeks a Nocturnist to join the inpatient team. You will provide direct patient care with a nurse coordinator, participate in teaching residents and students, and rotate across several facilities in the region.

Physicians work twelve 12-hour shifts per month with flexible scheduling and a strong emphasis on quality and citizenship. PSLF benefits apply; relocation and a $15,000 starting bonus are offered.

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Successful residency training completion from a US ACGME accredited program
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Utah medical license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing

About This Role

We are searching for a Nocturnist interested in joining an inpatient team rotating at Utah Valley Hospital.

• This position includes a $15,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance (determined by distance), and a Value Recognition Payment up to $20,000 annually based on meeting quality goals, thoughtful stewardship of our healthcare system, and achieving high standards in performance reviews as they relate to citizenship.
• This is a great opportunity to provide direct inpatient care with the assistance of a nurse coordinator
• Hospitalist will be expected to participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to residents and medical students.
• As a 501c3 organization, our caregivers are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
• You will practice primarily at Utah Valley Hospital with regular rotations required at Spanish Fork Hospital, Orem Community Hospital, and with the Tele-Hospitalist service.
• Physicians work twelve 12-hour shifts per month, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts as desired. The physician-created schedule provides flexibility to plan time off around scheduled shifts.

What You’ll Bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Successful residency training completion from a US ACGME accredited program
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment
