Job summary

Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is seeking Hospitalists to join its expanding team in the Pittsburgh area. This integrated delivery network focuses on preserving healthcare choice and delivering high-quality, affordable care to communities.

Positions include daylight and nocturnist roles with shifts in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. AHN offers comprehensive benefits, a sign-on bonus, and opportunities for professional growth within a quaternary care setting.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an ACGME-approved Internal Medicine residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• MD or DO degree and PA medical license prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide admissions, subsequent visits, discharges and consultations, and house coverage.
• Cover day and night shifts as scheduled (12 nocturnist or 15 daylight shifts per month).
• Teach residents and house staff at academic centers as needed.
• No procedures or ventilation management required.
• Engage in broad specialty consultations and contribute to quaternary care referrals.
• Earn a competitive base salary with a starting bonus and potential for additional shift and annual bonuses.

Join an Integrated Delivery Network focused on preserving health care choice and providing affordable, high-quality care to the people in our communities. Opportunities are available for daylight and nocturnists within Pittsburgh and the surrounding area.

Highlights:

• Provides admissions, subsequent visits, discharges, consultations and house coverage
• 12 shifts per month – Nocturnist Contract
• 15 shifts per month – Daylight Contract
• Teaches Residents and House Staff as necessary at academic centers
• No procedures or vent management
• Broad specialty consultation is available
• Quaternary care referral center
• Competitive base salary with a starting bonus, along with extra shift and yearly bonus potential
