All Star Healthcare Solutions seeks an experienced intensivist for open ICU coverage in California. The 60-bed Level 2 Trauma unit runs December to ongoing, with 14–16 daily census and day/night shifts; nights are solo with daytime intensivist contact by phone.

Responsibilities include line placements, intubations, and rapid response to codes; must provide logs from the past 12 months and work with an underserved patient population. EMR: Meditech.

Competenze

• Active CA License and active CA DEA.
• Board certification in IM/FM.
• Clean background with zero malpractice history.
• Active ACLS/BLS and current flu vaccine.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Mansioni

• Work solo in ICU with daytime intensivist available by phone at night.
• Respond to codes and perform lines and intubations as required.
• Provide care to an underserved population within a Level 2 Trauma center.

• Schedule

  • Shifts:

    • Days: 7a-5p, 9a-7p

      • Must be comfortable with 10 hour shifts

    • Nights: 7p-7a (Solo)

• Clinical Information:

  • # of beds: 60

  • Level 2 Trauma

  • Will be working solo

  • Avg daily census: 14-16

  • Avg # of admits: TBD

  • Procedures required? Yes

    • Lines/Intubations

  • Must be able to provide procedure logs from past 12 months

  • Open ICU at night. Intensivist present during the day, available by phone call at night

  • Must respond to codes

  • Underserved population
