Infirmary Health in Mobile is seeking Internal Medicine physicians to join our Hospitalist/Nocturnist team across Mobile Infirmary, Thomas Hospital, and North Baldwin Infirmary. This full-time position features a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule with inpatient duties at multiple campuses.

Responsibilities include patient admissions, rounding, tests interpretation, and coordinating care with specialists while developing discharge plans.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for an Alabama medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time internal medicine care to hospitalized patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, admissions, and rounding.
• Coordinate care with specialists and discharge planning.

Job Duties: Full-time Internal Medicine Physician responsible for providing care to patients during their hospital stay. Duties include (but not limited to): Ordering and Interpreting diagnostic tests, patient admissions, coordinating care with specialists, rounding on patients, creating patient treatment plans, dischargingpatients& providing the guidance/support for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• M.D., D.O., or foreign medical degree equivalent from an accredited medical school
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or have completed an Internal Medicine Residency
• Eligible for an Alabama medical license
