Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking internal medicine or family medicine trained hospitalists to join the Palestine Regional Medical Center hospital medicine team in Palestine, Texas. The position offers 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

with no procedures required and a supportive specialty network. New grads are welcome to apply as part of a well-established program. PRMC provides a 10-bed open ICU and supports EM for codes with an average of 15 patients per day.

Qualifications

• Internal medicine or family medicine trained hospitalists.
• 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; no procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist coverage on 12-hour shifts with patient care duties.
• Collaborate with specialty services including cath lab, cardiology, GI, IR, nephrology, orthopedics, rheumatology, and urology.
• Average about 15 patients per day in a open ICU setting.
