Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire seeks a Chief Hospitalist to lead our hospitalist program. The role blends clinical shifts with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of hospitalists, nocturnists, and support staff while overseeing scheduling and patient flow.

The ideal candidate is board-certified in internal medicine with 3+ years of hospitalist practice and a record of progressive leadership; experience teaching residents and collaborating with medical education

Hospitalist Program Information:

• 12 hour physician shifts
• 18-20 patient visits/day for each hospitalist
• Dedicated nocturnists
• Closed ICU
• No procedures required
