Job summary
Endeavor Health is actively seeking Advanced Practice Providers for the Division of Hospital Medicine in Chicago, IL. This per diem APN/PA role entails in-hospital patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment within established protocols, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and clinics.
Applicants must hold IL APN or PA licensure, with DEA and Illinois Controlled Substances licenses. BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications are required, with prior APN/PA experience in adult medicine or hospitalist
Qualifications
- License: APN or PA in IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
- Certification: BLS/CPR and ACLS certification required
- Experience: Prior APN/PA experience in Adult Medicine, ER, Internal Medicine, or Hospitalist Medicine preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease.
- Provide patient education to promote wellness and prevent illness and injury for individuals, families, and communities.
- Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
