Job summary

Prisma Health in Columbia, SC seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join as a Hospitalist Admitter or Rounder.

The role supports inpatient care, admissions decisions, and seamless care transitions within Prisma Health Richland and Baptist Parkridge.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for Hospitalist Admitter/Rounder roles.
• Experience as a hospitalist rounder or admittance clinician is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with inpatient teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-based care as a Hospitalist Admitter or Rounder at Prisma Health facilities in Columbia, SC.
• Participate in patient admission decisions and rounds, ensuring smooth care transitions.
• Support scheduling flexibility and participate in coverage plans.

Prisma Health is looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Rounder or Admitter to join our team in vibrant Columbia, South Carolina.

This is an employed opportunity for a Hospitalist Admitter or Hospitalist Rounder to join a well-established medicine service that is seeking additional staff due to increasing volume and practice coverage. The group provides hospitalist coverage at Prisma Health Richland and Prisma Health Baptist Parkridge; Joint Commission-accredited medical centers, that offers state-of-the-art medicine.

Physician Hospitalist Rounder/Admitter Position - Attractive Compensation Package:

• $362,250 – Admitter
