Job summary

Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA seeks an experienced full-time Hospitalist to join our 200-bed regional medical center. The role offers a 7-on/7-off, 12-hour shift schedule and robust compensation within a supportive medical group.

Applicants must be MD or DO, board-certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and eligible for PA licensure and federal/state narcotics certificates. This is an on-site position with a strong team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must have MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited residency/training program in hospital medicine or internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in 7-on/7-off schedule, with 12-hour shifts, and ensure patient safety.
