Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Rockingham, NC invites an experienced Hospitalist to join our inpatient medicine team at the Richmond campus. You will work within a physician-led, financially stable group and support diverse patient populations with access to a broad FirstHealth network.

We offer a desirable 7-on/7-off block schedule (180 shifts/year) and a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation, CME, and tail coverage malpractice support.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-approved Internal Medicine residency program.
• Board certification or board eligibility.
• Two years of Hospitalist experience preferred.
• NC medical license, NC DEA, and AHA ACLS certification.
• Willingness to provide scheduled coverage at the Hoke Campus in Raeford and Richmond in Rockingham.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care as part of an established hospitalist team.
• Collaborate with intensivists, neurology, pediatrics and geriatrics within the FirstHealth network.
• Support efficient patient transfers and continuity of care across campuses.
• Participate in a 7-on/7-off block schedule (180 shifts per year).
