Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital in Presque Isle, Maine, seeks a full-time, BC/BE Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join our hospitalist team. The role offers no-call duties, 12-hour shifts, and strong collaboration with on-site specialty services.

Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital seeks a full-time, BC/BE Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join our experienced team of physicians and advanced practitioners in Presque Isle, Maine. Practitioner teamwork and strong partnerships within our community hospital ensures a continued focus on our culture of care delivery. Both new graduates and experienced candidates, as well as those with Infectious Disease experience, or interest, are encouraged to apply!

Position Highlights:

• Our hospitalists consult and manage care with our on-site specialist teams that include, but are not limited to, orthopedics, cardiology, vascular, oncology, interventional radiology, pain/physiatry
• 12-hour shifts, (7a -7p & 7p -7a), rotated across physician team
• No call duties are required, and procedures are optional
• Full anesthesia and ancillary support staff
• Affiliation with medical schools, with oversight of medical students
• Leadership opportunities available; Hospital-employed role

Compensation Information:

• $304,307 - $365,569 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on quality incentives.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
